Bring It! Joins Us As Our November Community Partner

Join us on Tuesday, November 18 as we welcome Bring It as our featured Community Partner! Firefly will donate 10% of our food and non-alcoholic beverage sales from this date (11/18) to support Bring It!’s mission to provide safe, healthy, and educational out-of- school opportunities for students and families in Manchester, while helping them become more invested in the schools, systems, and community around them. Our program is diverse and inclusive and is designed to help some of Manchester’s most vulnerable students to grow and to thrive and to feel safe, supported and ready for the challenges ahead.
Bring It! will celebrate our 20th year of operations in 2026. Since its founding in 2006, BRING IT! has built an extensive track record of successful work with Manchester’s low-income, refugee and immigrant students. For the past nineteen years, BRING IT! has connected young people with community resources, academic support and engaging fun activities.
All Bring It! services are free to any student in grades 4 through 12 in the Manchester public school system. BRING IT supports the city’s diverse student population with academic tutoring and career exploration and brings young people together with soccer, dance, tutoring, performing arts activities and importantly, an evening meal. The Bring It! program especially caters to immigrant and refugee populations with more than 30 languages spoken among the more than 500 students served each year.
Book your table at Firefly now for November 18, and help us support Bring It!’s important work in our community!

Artists in Residence
Bruce Jones
Bruce Jones is a local artist from seacoast NH. His loose, bold, and unique paintings are on display in Firefly’s dining room known as the Art Room.
He learned the nuts and bolts of design and composition while attending the New England School of Art and Design in Boston, but he believes that his real education came from working with other professional artists. He was fortunate to travel and learn the art of plein air painting, which generates a lot of abstract qualities, lending itself to his natural expressive style.
He is a lifelong New Englander, and currently lives in Exeter, NH with his artist wife, Tracy, whose artwork is also on display in Firefly’s foyer.
Tracy R. Jones
Tracy was trained as an Art Educator at the Massachusetts College of Art where she had an emphasis in painting, and was influenced to examine, experience, and enjoy the process of creating while finding one’s own aesthetic.
Her large-scale assemblages and paintings explore the relationships between color and shapes while salvaging and utilizing oft-discarded materials and bold forms.
