CHEF DAVID BECKER

In 2006, Chef David Becker returned home to New Hampshire to fulfill a lifelong dream of opening a stylishly comfortable restaurant serving classic American dishes with a contemporary twist. David's career in the kitchen began nearly twenty five years ago in Portsmouth, NH, and he has since worked in an array of fine restaurants along the east coast, developing an extensive knowledge of a wide range of cuisines. His culinary training spans from traditional Irish fare to authentic Northern Italian and Mediterranean dishes to Creole, classical French and global tropical cuisines.

As co-owner of Firefly, David has designed a menu which incorporates a multitude of these culinary styles and influences. His estimable hands-on practices ensure that every dish offered by the kitchen is sure to be delectable and distinctive. Chef David Becker's dedication to quality, together with his passion for food and his lifetime of experience have helped to secure Firefly's glowing reputation as a destination for discerning brunch, lunch, and dinner diners in the Southern New Hampshire area.
